Teret Books project was set up to supply published materials in English and Amharic languages for children.

Two books were published by support of UnLtd RISE Social Enterprise Award. The first book was entitled "Zeraf!” 2006, a book that highlights, bring to attention, shares experiences of unaccompanied children who had left their home-land and seek to settle themselves in a new country. It was a collection of five short fictional stories. Zeraf! had a warm welcome among educators, social workers, librarians and the Ethiopian Community worldwide.


The second book entitled “The Girl Who Smelled Like Orange”, was published in July 2009 with the aim of indirectly instil the habit of eating fruit in children. It also shares how we find a sense of wonder and enjoyment from nature. The story enhances emotional and social development by portraying children engages in playing and sharing oranges at the end.
